On the 11th & 12th of September 2010 the North East Regional Junior Closed Championships will take place at 2 venues, with the Girls event at Chapel Allerton Tennis, Gym & Squash club and the boys at Pontefract Squash Club.

With the inclusion of an under 19 event there should be a bumper entry.

There will be 10 draws in total this year, which are:

> Girls under 11's Boys under 11's
> Girls under 13's Boys under 13's 

> Girls under 15's Boys under 15's 

> Girls under 17's Boys under 17's
> Girls under 19's Boys under 19's

This year the Regional Closed Championships will also be given enhanced ranking status as recognition of its importance within the junior structure of the sport. The new Regional Event Status will attract points half way between those awarded to Bronze and Silver Events.
